Spend the evening immersed in the bhakti tradition of heart-centered practices, including chanting. We’ll explore the joyful and meditative journey of singing through call-and-response, which creates a bridge between the individual and the eternal, opening the heart and welcoming the spirit. By singing, we unite our voices and join in a stream of consciousness and devotion that has been flowing for centuries. Join Gizella for a sweet and sweaty deep dive into the heart opening practices of Bhakti, the yoga of love and devotion. In this workshop style class, we will explore mantra with Harmonium, Pranayama, Asana and Healing Japa Mala Meditation. (Bring your own Mala)
Class will include a strong vinyasa and pranayama practice, and conclude with final thoughts and any q&a.
This practice is perfect for both newer and seasoned practitioners looking to deepen their practices, and also teachers looking to bring more bhakti and chanting into their offerings, but not quite sure where to start. Come practice and see what comes up!
