Alexae

I’m a native Oregonian that has found a second home in Virginia. My lifelong loves include writing, making music, and being outside. I started practicing yoga in high school, and I haven’t looked back! I completed my 200-hour RYT certification in 2022, focused on trauma-informed yoga for healing and growth. Yoga has changed my life; it has taught me awareness, authenticity, and vulnerability. Yoga has helped me navigate overwhelming tragedy and grief; it has transformed my relationship with myself; and, it has taught me how to befriend the challenges in my life and learn from them, instead of numbing them away. I hope to help others feel both held and free as we learn and grow together!

Jess

I took my first hot yoga class in late 2014, and have been practicing since. By my third month of practicing I knew I had to go to teacher training to share this phenomenal practice with as many people as possible. Just over a year after taking my first hot class, I became a certified teacher, and have been teaching yoga full-time from the end of 2015.

To help with my own healing, I started receiving reiki energy healing treatments in early 2021. Just like the yoga, I knew it was something that was going to be a part of my life forever. And it helped to bring things full circle as to why I love helping people - I am a healer, plain and simple. I became a certified reiki master in May of 2022 and absolutely love it.

I am always eager to learn new modalities of healing - to be a student first and a teacher second. I look forward to healing you in a yoga class or reiki session.

Or through my carefully curated juices and foodstuffs! (Check out the nutrition guidance and coaching page)

Kat

Katherine first encountered the healing art of Reiki on a yoga retreat in 2017. While she wascinitially skeptical of energy medicine, she was also curious – and after that first session she couldn’t deny that something was happening here! Five years later, and Katherine is now a Level 2 Reiki practitioner who supports clients in caring for and cultivating their relationships with their bodies through energy work. Katherine recognizes that each person is the expert of their own experience. She works with clients to create safe containers for transformation, and to bring greater awareness to the connection between our energy bodies and our physical, mental, and emotional experiences.

In addition to Reiki, Katherine is a practitioner of yoga, mindfulness meditation, and several somatic and awareness-based practices informed by the principles of Gestalt therapy. She brings her skills as a deep listener and holder of space to all that she does.

Chelsea

Originally from the Jersey Shore, Chelsea always loved finding peace by being at the beach and walking in the forest. When she found yoga back in 2014, she realized yoga grounded her as much as being in nature. Throughout college, work, and the start of the pandemic, Chelsea found that yoga and meditation always helped her find her inner peace. In 2021, her intuition nudged her towards yoga teacher training. One thing led to the next, and she expanded her healing modalities on her spiritual journey.

Today, Chelsea is a yoga teacher, reiki master, spiritual life purpose coach, and a Thai Yoga and Ayurvedic massage practitioner. Her goal is to help her clients find their inner peace through energy healing, release what holds them back through bodywork and asana, and come back to their inner self through breathwork and traveling inward. As a teacher and a lifelong student, Chelsea is excited to meet you wherever you are on your journey and to hold a safe space for all who work with her.

Shveta

I’m an intuitive space holder and “champi” is my favorite way of holding space for anyone looking for solace. I learned this beautiful practice from my grandma while growing up.

An outdoorsy hiker, writer, photographer and dancer, I’m always looking for avenues to express my creativity.

At MYBO, i wish to express my empathetic and nurturing abilities to bring you peace and harmony. I’ll tune into your crown chakra and “Champi” your head to increase circulation, help with hair growth and release stress.

Depending on your mood and energy, I like to add a dash of essential oils, massaging methods, aromatherapy, earthly music, energy work and sound healing in the session space that I hold with you.

A little more than a head massage, for me, “champi” is an intuitive stimulation to honor your spirit by listening to your body, picking up on subtle signals, all while channeling my loving grandma.

It’s an honor to serve you!
