Yoga Wall Training

The Yoga Wall allows one to feel a yoga pose without the weight of their body, thus feeling what the asana should feel like. It also allows students to hold yoga poses longer with better alignment, and therefore to get more benefit out of their practice. Amanda Shipe (trained by Bryan Legere, founder of the Yoga Wall) will lead Yoga Wall Teacher Training to teach you how to properly and safely use the Yoga Wall to teach Yoga Wall Group or Private Classes.

We will cover a variety of therapeutic applications that will help you help students relieve chronic pain, prevent injury, and strengthen their entire body. You will leave the program with at least 5 class sequences so you are ready to teach when you are comfortable. At the conclusion: If you are already a 200RYT, you eligible to teach both group classes at MYBO and private and semi private classes.

200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT)

Our alignment-based vinyasa yoga teacher training originates from the teachings of Krishnamacharya, the teacher of B.K.S. Iyengar (Iyengar yoga), and Pattabhi Jois (Ashtanga yoga). This gives you a solid foundation of technical excellence combined with philosophical depth, enabling you to teach your practice.

The Oasis offers smaller, intimately-sized teacher training programs, which provide you with unparalleled access to lead teachers during the program and ongoing mentorship and career advice well beyond program completion. You will begin practice teaching your peers early in the training. Through real classroom experience, teaching groups, and hands-on adjustments, you will gain the confidence and ability to begin teaching yoga immediately upon graduation.

Amanda is a Yoga Teacher and Thai Yoga Body Work Practitioner so this technique combines many of the assists and stretches Yoga Teachers can do (thus is a perfect additional training for Yoga Teachers to add to their teaching skill set).
